Northwest Profiles #3003 - Jan 2017
Spokane’s CarLy Haney believes that not all who crawl are meant to appall. She’s found her artistic niche in “arachnidermy”; arachnids plus taxidermy. Using dead spiders that she has purchased, or have gotten through donations, CarLy creates works of art that display the beauty of creature crawlers.

This Week at Canyon Lakes
In Kennewick Washington, Brookdale Canyon Lakes, a senior living retirement community, provides its residents an activity that entertains and enlightens, in the form of broadcast news. The first of it’s kind, seniors tell stories about their lives and their community, meant for residents of their community and their families. Shown both at the Facility and online, the program has developed a positive online presence bot on VIMEO and Facebook.
